Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and drive to the hotel
Expect to get a warm welcome from our expert at the Entebbe International Airport (EBB) and after, you will head to your pre-booked accommodation. Entebbe is strategically set in the area where you can enjoy the charming Lake Victoria.
Day 2: Entebbe –Murchison National Park via Ziwa
At leisure, start your day with a delicious breakfast, and after, meet the driver guide for a short briefing concerning your 12-day tour and today’s journey in particular. Leave Entebbe for Murchison Falls Park via the Gulu highway and in a 4×4 safari car.

Expect to have a rewarding stopover at Ziwa where you will engage in a guided trek to explore more about rhinos. After the trek with the rhinos, you will have lunch in Masindi town and then proceed to the park. Today’s journey also includes a visit to the top of the falls and then you connect to check in your lodge.
Day 3: Game drive and boat cruise with an expert from Uganda
With a local expert, expect to embark on a safe game drive through the Northern track of Murchison Falls National Park. During the 2-3 hour game drive through Murchison, you will have a chance to encounter a variety of animals including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards, and hartebeests. You also stand a chance to come across many birds, oribis, warthogs, plus many other wildlife.

After the game drive, lunch will be enjoyed at the lodge, and expect to end the day with an afternoon boat cruise. The boat cruise takes you to the powerful and breathtakingly stunning Murchison waterfalls. Expect to come across many Nile crocodiles, hippos, and water birds.
Day 4: Pick up at the lodge & drive to Kibale
Today’s road trip begins after you have checked out of your safari lodge in Murchison Falls National Park. Drive via the beautiful Hoima and en route, you will have a stopover at Fort Portal tourism city for lunch. Proceed on a scenic drive to your safari camp or lodge to chill.
Day 5: Kibale chimp trek expedition with park ranger guide
Have a leisurely breakfast and then proceed to Kanyanchu to be briefed about chimpanzee tracking regulations. The park official will assign each group of 6-pax a park ranger guide to accompany them in the jungles of Kibale. The search for chimps takes about 2-4 hours but includes an hour of magical encounter with these apes and taking the best pictures.

Expect to start returning to where your trek started and in the afternoon, enjoy lunch. Later, you will be visiting Bigodi wetland where you be viewing more primates and also appreciate the impact community tourism and conservation has created in the Bigodi community.
Day 6: Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth National Park in a 4×4 safari car
Leave Kibale Forest Park for Queen Elizabeth Game Park driving through the Crater Lake dominated area. The scenic drive comes with mesmerizing views including the Rwenzori Mountain ranges at a distance and a stopover at the Kikorongo Equator crossing.
At Queen Elizabeth Park, expect to enjoy 2 hour launch cruise with an expert. Explore the enriching Kazinga channel which links Lake George and Lake Edward. Many animals will be encountered on a boat cruise including the Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants, and aquatic bird species.
Day 7: Depart for Ishasha to enjoy a game drive

A leisurely breakfast will be followed by checkout and you proceed to Ishasha. At Ishasha, continue to the camp or lodge for relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on the enriching game drive and this section of the park allows you to search for the tree-climbing lions, topis, and birds.
Day 8: Drive to Bwindi
In a 4×4 safari car, embark on a road trip to Bwindi about a 2-hour drive. Nothing much will be done today except relaxing at the lodge as you wait for the big adventure the next day.
Day 9: Gorilla trekking with Bwindi park ranger guide
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and after, you will gather at Bwindi National Park offices to be briefed about gorilla trekking and the rules to be followed. By around 8:00 am, you will be accompanied by the guide on an actual trek to see mountain gorillas. Gorilla treks are done on already habituated families of gorillas and expect to take 2-6 hours inclusive of one hour for a close encounter.

When you return from the gorilla trek, you will spend some time at the lodge. Till in the afternoon when you will be led to the Batwa community for a cultural tour.
Day 10: Bwindi Forest to Lake Mburo
Drive to Lake Mburo National Park about a 6-hour drive. Enjoy the countryside’s stunning views of the hills, plantations, and more. Lunch will be enjoyed at leisure while at your respective accommodation facility.
Day 11: Game drive and launch with Lake Mburo Park guide

A delicious cup of tea/coffee will be followed by an exciting guided game drive with an expert. Today, expect to get surprising encounters of wildlife some of which you may not have encountered in any of the parks you visited as per this itinerary. Lake Mburo safaris come with astonishing sights of elands, topis, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and many others.
In the afternoon, expect a fun-filling launch cruise excursion on Lake Mburo. With a local expert, enjoy the sights of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.
Day 12: Drive back to Entebbe
Today will be the last day as per your travel plan. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and ensure that you have your property safely packed in your respective safari cars ready for a return trip. Around Kayabwe, a stopover will be made to allow you to have fun at the Equator crossing then continue to Entebbe.
